Double Vanilla Pound Cake

For several years now I had always wanted this oh so scrumptious frozen yogurt pound cake called Double Vanilla Pound Cake that I had first tasted at a Christmas Dinner many years before. You see as a small child my Grandfather used to have a small store in the southern part of our town. In those days the dog wheelchair vanilla soda was one of the most well-known sodas sold. It was also among my favorite sodas and I remember how great those cold sodas could taste on a hot summer afternoon. I don’t know if you’ve ever had a vanilla soda but they’re one of the most delicious sylvan microdermabrasion soft drinks ever and despite all the soda is gone you can still taste that wonderful vanilla flavor in your mouth. It was truly the most great flavors in the world. I was born and raised in South Carolina and eventually moved to another state. I had really almost forgotten how great snore mouthguard vanilla soda taste when about ten years ago I went back home for Thanksgiving. I visited one of my Aunt’s house and found out that she was serving a double vanilla steadicam pound cake and I discovered something about myself that I had obviously forgotten for so many years. I’m still in love with the taste of vanilla soda! And when it was added to made into a double vanilla pound cake, it was one of the most delightful tastes I ever had. My aunt didn’t want to share the Glidegear recipe to anyone else even if I tried to pay her for that special recipe. After so many years I worked on discovering the secrets to that special pound cake and you have no idea how many times I tried to come up with a recipe to create that brilliant dermabrasion machine cake my aunt served at the Thanksgiving dinner many years ago. I tried harder and did not give up until I had discovered what made that cake so special and delicious. I tried many different ingredients but I just could not get the exact taste I was looking for. The cake I had been served was moist and it had the distinct frozen yogurt machine flavor of the soda it had been named after. But when I would try to make the cake I could get close to the taste I was looking for but something wasn’t just quite right. I knew that one of the main ingredients of that  pet wheelchair cake was the soda but there just had to be an ingredient that I was missing. You would not believe how many different ingredients I tried before I discovered what the one ingredient was that I had been missing. When was the last time you have baked a great best friend mobility pound cake? This has got to be one of classic favorite cakes. Pound cakes are usually associated with Southwestern desserts, this dense, soft and fluffycake has become a favorite snack for picnics, potlucks, Sylvan microdermabrasion machine family gatherings, and kids parties everywhere. It has been a favorite cake of bakers and chefs because of its versatility in its uses and was labeled as “The World’s Greatest Cake”. Yet, no matter how many picnics, potlucks, family get-togethers and social dogwheelchairscenter events we attend, we don’t see many homemade pound cakes. Ever notice how most pound cakes served at these functions come from supermarket bakeries? And, unless the function is a formal luncheon or tea, the pound cakes are often served right from their frozen yogurt franchise supermarket pans – with price tags still intact! Pound cakes are a dense cake that has been a favorite since the old times and got its name from the ingredient amounts. A lot of the original frozen yogurt machine recipes called for a pound each of flour, sugar, butter and eggs and that’s how got it’s name “Pound Cake”.  Classic recipes just say to mix the above ingredients, put them in a pan and bake in a moderate oven for 1 to 2 hours. (The type of microdermabrasion machine oven must have dictated the cooking time.) Nowadays, the dry ingredients are either sifted or mixed with a wire whip. The butter and sugar are creamed and then the eggs (whole, just yolks or yolks and whites) are added one-at-a-time. The camcorder stabilizer flour mixture is added to the butter mixture alternately with the liquid (milk or sometimes sour cream.) If whipped egg whites are used (to me they make the cake less dense), this is when they are folded into the batter. The batter is put into a greased and floured camera stabilizer tube pan and baked for one to 1-1/2 hours. Sometimes the oven is preheated and sometimes not. Just by adding different flavored extracts, such as vanilla or orange, makes it a new cake each time. Other items can be added such as nuts or dried fruits, which would further change the microderm machine cake. Conceivably, all you need is one good pound cake recipe and various additives to make a number of different cakes. Here’s a perfect vanilla pound cake recipe that you and your family will surely love. Two cups frozen yogurt sugar, one cup softened butter, 5 fresh eggs, two teaspoons vanilla, three cups flour, one teaspoon baking powder, and one cup milk. Once you have prepared your ingredients, pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees F. Combine sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla in a large dog wheelchair box and mix together. Using an electric beater and set to low, beat ingredients to mix well. Then set to high and beat for five minutes. Then set back to low, and add flour gradually and baking powder alternately with milk. Beat well after each addition. Set aside. Grease and flour 10 inched tube pan. Spoon batter and spread evenly. Bake for one hour and 20 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool for 15 minutes and invert cake onto a plate and serve with your favorite tea or coffee. Bakers of all stripes want this classic in their collection – as well as their freezer. A true pound cake relies on beating each egg thoroughly since there’s no baking powder. This is a good time to use imitation vanilla extract, because there is less flavour evaporation than with pure vanilla extract.
